You win some... you lose some.
This past week has definitely had it’s up’s and downs. After coming off quite a few successful weeks my only thought was that it was going to continue. But unfortunately, I was wrong. Josh Tranby, Mike Liddle, Alex Horner and I set out to get a few winch shots in before the end of the season. We had several spots that we had been scoping out and decided to put in the push to get them done. Uncooperative fishermen, low water levels and shorter days were just a few of the problems we ran into resulting in not getting a single shot. To make matters worse, my body finally gave into the toll it had been taking for the past month and a half and let illness take over, just in time to go on vacation with my girlfriend. I quickly recovered though, but the weather was not cooperative. We made the best of it and now I am hoping that this week will be far more productive. Few wake shoots this week and the sun seems to be finally coming out. I guess you can’t have the ups, without the downs.
